About SHPE

SHPE is the largest association in the nation for Hispanics in STEM. We meet each of our student and professional members where they are—offering effective training, mentorship, and programming for our vibrant community.

Mission

The SHPE Twin Cities Professional Chapter (SHPE-TC) is a non-profit 501c(3) that has served the Twin Cities for over 25 years by promoting personal and professional growth and increasing educational opportunities.

Vision

To change lives by empowering our local Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and impact the Twin Cities through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) awareness, access, support and development.

We will achieve our Vision by providing:

Professional development, networking, and community outreach events for our members.
Scholarships and mentoring support to local Hispanic college and high school students pursuing STEM careers.
Annual Noche de Ciencias events to inspire STEM in local high schools.
