Cristo Rey's FIRST Robotics Project Kickoff - Saturday, December 7th
The kickoff for this program is December 7th at the University of Minnesota Campus (222 Pleasant Street SE Minneapolis, MN 55455) from 8:30AM-3:15PM. This event will hold training sessions for everything the team & volunteers need to know to succeed in this program.
We are seeking people who are willing to volunteer a minimum of 4 days
during the 6-week build season (Jan 1 through Feb 12) to mentor the students through this program. We are looking for professionals who are willing to learn and teach these students rapid development and research using the internet (or your expertise) to learn the skills necessary to build a robot within 6 weeks. You do not need to have any background in robotics to volunteer.
We have set up a sign-up tool to document volunteer participation. You do not need to enter an email address to volunteer in this tool. If you are interested in helping with this program, please submit which dates you are able to participate: http://doodle.com/9yncrwdizuk2d95u and James Rodriguez (firstname.lastname@example.org)
will follow up with you.
This event is open for all interested professionals.
